WizKids has announced Egyptian Legends, a new standalone game in the Fantasy Realms line, scheduled for a retail release in May 2027. The game takes the series to the banks of the ancient Nile, where players will compete for control of the region.

In Egyptian Legends, players will select cards featuring gods, pharaohs, quests and other elements to build their realms. Players will score points by creating combinations among their cards, increasing each Realm’s glory throughout the game.

The game also introduces a strategic option tied to the Afterlife. Players can send cards to the afterlife to unlock powerful abilities. In the end, whoever builds the best realm will be declared ruler of the Nile.

The new box will support two to six players, with a recommended age of 12 and up. Each game is expected to last 20 minutes, maintaining the quick-play format associated with Fantasy Realms.

Egyptian Legends will retail for US$ 19.99. WizKids has not yet revealed further details about the release, such as the exact date in May or the game’s availability in different markets.
