Asmodee UK more than doubled its annual operating profit, reaching £35.1 million for the year ended March 2026. The distributor attributed the result primarily to the performance of the trading card game market, which had a very strong year and remained its largest category.

The UK operation's revenue also rose, climbing nearly 60% to £224 million. The company highlighted Pokémon, One Piece, Disney Lorcana and Star Wars Unlimited as major contributors to the result.

Board games performed steadily during the holiday period. Asmodee UK singled out Brick Like This and The Fellowship of the Ring: Trick-Taking Game among its standout releases.

Brick Like This was the first release from Dotted Games, a studio established by Asmodee in 2024 following a partnership with LEGO to develop new board games based on the brand. A few months earlier, LEGO and Asmodee had announced Monkey Palace, the first game jointly created by the two companies.

The UK figures reflect a broader shift in the composition of Asmodee's global revenue. In the same fiscal year, the group reported €1.68 billion in net sales, up 23%, while operating profit grew by around 43.6%. More than 72% of revenue came from distributing games published by other companies, compared with 63% the previous year, and TCGs accounted for approximately 60% of annual sales.

In the April-to-June quarter, already part of the new fiscal year, global revenue increased 20.9% year over year to €422.1 million. TCGs accounted for more than two-thirds of quarterly revenue, while board game sales grew 16%.

The UK operation also updated its corporate name: Esdevium Games officially became Asmodee UK Limited in July 2026. The company has used Asmodee UK as its trading name since 2017, after Asmodee acquired a majority stake in distributor Esdevium in 2010.
