A record of what 62 Malaysian online-casino brands published about their own free-credit promotions between 27 and 28 August 2026.

تحرير المادة

Between 27 and 28 August 2026 we captured the public promotion pages of 62 Malaysian online-casino brands and coded every free-credit offer legible on them. The result was 188 promotions across 59 of the 62 brands.

For each promotion we asked one question: does the operator's own page state the conditions attached to it?

One of the 188 carried a quantified, promotion-specific turnover requirement. One carried a quantified, promotion-specific maximum-withdrawal limit. None carried a stated expiry date. Of the 62 brands, two published a publicly accessible FAQ or bonus-information page of any kind, and one of those two — SQUEEN668 — published quantified promotion-specific terms.

What was counted, and how

The unit of analysis is a promotion as displayed: a tile, card or banner advertising free credit on a page the operator publishes for the public. A condition was recorded as stated only where it appeared as a number attached to that specific promotion. A general statement elsewhere on the site was not counted, because a reader looking at the promotion cannot see it there.

Coverage was recorded per operator rather than assumed. Of the 62 brands, 48 were captured completely, 12 partially, and 2 not at all — one because the promotion area sat behind a login, one because the site could not be reached during the capture window. Every record is traceable to a screenshot; 395 frames were retained.

A separate count is worth reporting on its own terms. A further 43 promotions sat beneath section-level banners reading "NO TURNOVER" or "NO ROLLOVER", printed above a row of tiles. Those banners were not explicitly attributed to the individual promotions below them. We report them separately and do not treat them as promotion-specific disclosure, because a banner above a group does not tell a reader which of the offers it governs.

What this does not establish

Three things this research does not show, and which we do not claim.

It does not show that any promotion is false, or that any operator will not pay. Nothing was claimed, deposited or tested. The study is a record of published text, not of outcomes.

It does not show common ownership between operators, whatever similarities appear in layout or wording.

It does not establish fault by anyone, including us. Where a condition was absent we record it as not disclosed on the pages we captured — never as evidence that no condition exists. An operator may well apply a turnover requirement it has not printed. That is precisely the point: the reader cannot see it.

Why the absence matters to a reader

A free-credit promotion is an offer with conditions. The common ones are a turnover or wagering requirement, which sets how much must be staked before a balance can be withdrawn; a maximum-withdrawal cap, which limits what can be taken out regardless of what accumulates; and an expiry, after which the credit lapses. Any of the three can change what an offer is worth, and a reader who cannot see them cannot compare two offers on anything except the advertised number.

That is the practical consequence of the count above. Across 188 offers, the advertised figure was almost always the only figure available. Comparing "RM5 free credit" against "RM10 free credit" tells a reader which number is larger, and nothing about which is worth more.

Where terms are not published, the questions a reader can still ask are simple: what is the turnover requirement on this specific promotion, what is the maximum I can withdraw from it, and when does it expire. An operator that answers those in writing has told you what the offer is. One that does not has told you something too.

The data

The full methodology, the coding rules, every exclusion, the record-level workbook and the operator-source screenshots are available on request and without condition, to any publication or researcher who wants to check the figures rather than take them on trust.

KakiFreeCredit is an independent Malaysian comparison and promotion-verification directory. It is not a casino, a bookmaker or a licensed gambling operator, and it takes no deposits. A plain-language explanation of turnover, withdrawal limits and expiry is published alongside the research, and the directory itself is at kakifreecredit.com.

Frequently Asked Questions About Free-Credit Promotion Terms

What is a turnover requirement in online casino promotions?

A turnover requirement specifies the total monetary amount a player must wager before any bonus credit or accumulated winnings become eligible for withdrawal.

Why do online casinos cap maximum withdrawal limits?

Maximum withdrawal caps limit the total payout an operator will honor from promotional credits, regardless of how much profit a player accumulates during play.

Why are promotional terms often omitted from advertising banners?

Operators frequently keep advertisement banners minimal for design clarity, relying on general terms pages or customer support to outline specific promotional requirements.

How can consumers verify promotional conditions safely?

Players should look for written terms before playing or check independent verification resources like online gamblinglink outside website regulations and directory guides.

Gambling carries a risk of financial loss and is restricted to those aged 18 and over.
